NAPFA Women's Initiative

Mission

The NAPFA Women鈥檚 Initiative strives to attract, support, educate, and develop women as leaders within the financial advisory profession and to raise the awareness of the need for more female advisors. We work toward this mission by building a community of women advisors, providing programs at NAPFA events, attracting media attention through articles in financial publications, and providing networking, advocacy, and mentorship opportunities to women.

Women's Initiative Student Scholarships
The purpose of the NAPFA Women鈥檚 Initiative is to attract, support, educate, and develop women as leaders within the financial advisory profession and to raise the awareness of the need for more female advisors. Currently, women make up less than 30% of all financial advisors in the profession. We hope this scholarship opportunity will encourage more women to explore this profession.
Applicants should be female undergraduate students of any major enrolled in a college or university in the United States. Students who will be a sophomore, junior, or senior in Fall of the year application period is open. The scholarship award includes $2,500 toward tuition, preferably applied toward a personal finance course, complimentary 1-year student affiliate membership to NAPFA, and mentoring opportunities with the NAPFA Women's Initiative.
